Safety comes first
- Report a user: in a conversation, open the ⋯ menu → Report; on a suggestion, tap Report or block; on a Soul Match profile, tap ⋯. Reports are reviewed by a person, normally within 24 hours, and you get a notification once a decision has been taken. A copy of your conversation with that person is kept with the report, so it can still be reviewed if either of you blocks the other.
- Block a user: from the same places → Block - the match and its conversation are removed immediately and permanently for both sides.
- Report an AI summary: in “Why this suggestion?”, tap Report this summary. It is taken down at once, and we keep a copy to check what went wrong.
- If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
Your account and data
- Delete your account: Settings → Delete my account, or see the deletion page.
- Export your data: Settings → Download my data. The app prepares a structured copy of everything we hold about you and hands it to you straight away. If you cannot reach the app, email us with the subject “Data export request” and we will send it within 30 days.
- Consents: whether your faith, politics and intimacy answers are kept and used for matching, and whether anonymous usage analytics and AI summaries are on: change any of them at any time in Settings → Privacy choices. Saying no for a topic erases its answers.
Contacting us about content and legal matters
soulsinq@gmail.com is our single electronic point of contact for users, for Member State authorities and for the European Commission under the Digital Services Act. Messages are read by a person, not only by an automated tool. We read and reply in English. Notices about illegal content, and any question about a decision we have taken on a photograph, a message or an account, go to the same address.

Common questions
Why are photos blurred?
That's the heart of SoulSinq: connection before appearance. Photos reveal progressively, tile by tile, as you and your match actually talk and play together.
Why don't I see new suggestions?
A fresh set arrives every day. Quality over quantity - the pool also depends on who is compatible with your preferences and distance settings.
Why am I suggested someone whose beliefs I don't know?
Faith and politics answers are used in matching only when each person allows it (Settings → Privacy choices). Someone who has not can still be suggested to you, and a preference you set about beliefs cannot apply to answers they chose not to share.

Credits
City names and locations: GeoNames, licensed under CC BY 4.0. The app uses an extract we adapted: cities of 15,000 people or more, with their names reformatted for search.
